Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) applies approaches and techniques to maximise a child’s engagement, achievement and independence in all activities of daily living and occupations including self-care, leisure and productivity.

OT at Enlighten Early Learning

Fostering our commitment to an all-inclusive environment, we have the support of an Occupational Therapist on site with over nine years experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, behavioural difficulties, sensory concerns and more. Our educators have daily access to the OT to discuss their concerns and be supported in developing strategies for any child attending Enlighten Early Learning. In addition, our educators will also have access to weekly group education sessions with the OT to discuss any child they feel may need particular assistance within the following functional domains: self-care, communication, social skills, learning, motor skills and self-management skills.

Our children will be supported
